Craniosacral Therapy(CST) balances the nervous system and creates freedom from pain through gentle palpation by releasing restrictions in the body from past, lost or forgotten trauma.
Crainosacral Therapy is used to detect and correct imbalances in the Craniosacral system, which may be the cause of sensory, motor or neurological dysfunction. The Craniosacral system consists of the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face and mouth—which make up the cranium—down to the sacrum or tailbone area.
- One hour session are $110
- 90 minute session $160
The CranioSacral system is intimately related to, influences, and is influenced by: the nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, the vascular system, the lymphatic system, the endocrine system and the respiratory system.
Our CranioSacral therapy is a holistic hand’s on approach to treating pain and profoundly affecting and integrating many functions in the body thus allowing for all systems to find balance and ease.
Pain, caused by emotional disturbances, neurological issues or physical trauma are detected and corrected by allowing the body to come into a very relaxed place which allows the non-conscious mind to self-correct the imbalances that the neuromuscular system holds, providing freedom of movement and the releasing of pain that is eventually permanently resolved.
There are many indications for utilizing this system of healing. I have had the most experience with working with pain relief, headache and migraines, vertigo and joint pain. Clients have also come in to work on integrating emotional and physical symptoms related to pain and emotional connection to that pain that they would like to explore. I work in a serene setting and invite the client to touch in on an experience, and this allows one to self- reflect, make connections and create changes in the tissues, thus informing their personal growth through the physical relief of symptoms. CST addresses the core issue and hence symptoms subside.
